What Do You Use To Make The Blog/Site?

Blogs vary depending on user style, but the sites are always free as far as their use. For my websites I use one of four start-ups, depending on the end use of the website. The interface is very user friendly and can be upgraded to a Pro version for an extra fee for even more capabilities, such as video streaming. Most blogs and websites to have the ability to be tagged onto Facebook and Twitter directly as well.

What About My Domain Name?

Being that the sites themselves are free to use, you will always have yourname.blogwhatever.com or yoursite.weebly.com as your domain name. That being said, you will also always have the ability to simply have the .com after your blog or site name for an extra fee. My suggestion though is to always start out with the free version, make sure you are going to use your blog, or make sure you will get out of you website what you think you will, before you upgrade the site in any way. The Weebly site does let you see how many people have visited your site on a daily basis...total and individual visits. This information can help you decide if you want to pay for your own domain name!

What Does Your Pricing Include?

The pricing listed includes the actual creation of your blog or website and instructions on how to maintain them on your own. Upgrading your sites for more capability does cost more depending on the site basics. Owning your own domain name will cost extra as well. Both of those prices can be discussed as needed. I do also place a footer with my web address on the bottom of each page of the websites that I create.

What If I Need Help After The Website Is Done?

Once I have completed your website, you will not simply be abandoned to maintain it on your own. I will sit with you and walk you through everything so that you can update things as you need to. If that is not your style, or you are just not comfortable with that, I can maintain your updates for you at $20 an hour on an as needed basis. Charges are done in 15 minute increments and will be billed out at the end of the month.

What Forms Of Payment Do You Accept?

Being new to the business world limits what I can accept. Right now, personal checks (which will be cashed immediately) or cash are the only forms of payment I can accept. I am looking into creating a PayPal account to make the processing of credit cards possible.  I do require a minimum of a 50% deposit on all websites prior to starting the project. Any balance will be due prior to the site being turned over to the owner.
